My name is Amanda Miesse. I am a Christian stay at home wife and mom. Before I was a stay at home mom I was an assistant manager for a restaurant. I have many years of working in the food industry, as well as managing, in the food industry. I strive to make cakes and other items that not just look good but taste good as well! Even though I look at cake decorating as a form of art I take serious the manner in which my items are prepared, as well as handled.
     I have a loving and very supportive husband Mark. Who has also worked in the food industry before taking a job in the computer field. If he ever finds the time aside from working and going to school, to obtain a degree in religion, he has plans to learn my trade as well. He can sometimes be found helping out in the kitchen and making icing, doing other prep work or cleaning. He is a huge help.
     My oldest daughter Hailey can be found hanging out in the kitchen with me quite often. She has a good eye for design and I usually ask her opinion on a great deal of my work. Hailey can be found accompanying me on most deliveries. I believe one day she will be my right hand person in all of this.
     My youngest daughter Ryley, isn't old enough to help out. However, she will come in to the kitchen to give her opinion on a final item's appearance. She also is a very valuable taste tester when trying new flavors or recipes. She gets this from her father who is a master taste tester.
     The newest and laziest edition to our home came this February. His name is Angus and he is an Old English Bulldog. He doesn't get any time in the kitchen, especially when it's open. He stays gated out almost all the time. He doesn't seem to mind though. He is happy on the couch or laying out in the grass. I don't think he will even make a good guard dog to keep people from getting all of my wonderful recipes!
